Parisian-born designer Faustine Steinmetz put an innovative, modern spin on denim in her COTTON USA-sponsored collection at London Fashion Week. COTTON USA's highly coveted London Fashion Week sponsorship encourages new designers to showcase their talent and bring the vision for their collection to life through the versatility of U.S. cotton.

"Cotton is absolutely really important to Faustine's vision," Sabrina Shim, Deputy Editor of Bon Magazine, said. "The way that she works with it, and obviously she relishes using cotton in order to create these absolutely beautiful, stunning fabrics."

COTTON USA produced two videos for the event to generate consumer interest in the U.S. cotton collection: a behind-the-scenes look at Faustine working on her collection and footage filmed live on the day of the London Fashion Week show.

Before the event, COTTON USA secured two successful competitions for consumers to win tickets to the London Fashion Week show: one with (1.0 million unique users) and a Twitter competition with Grazia (310,000 followers). The promotion received nearly 2,000 entries.

COTTON USA also placed a post-show competition with the London Evening Standard, in which consumers could win an exclusive meet-and-greet with Faustine at her studio and a designer item from her latest U.S. cotton collection. The London Evening Standard promoted the offer, which went live this week, on its Facebook (17,539 likes) and Twitter pages (10,200 followers).

Faustine’s Autumn-Winter 2015 presentation show had more than 100 guests in attendance. Journalists from Vogue, Stella, The Telegraph, i-D and Dazed were just a few of the prestigious names at the event. Iconic fashion journalist and International Vogue Editor Suzy Menkes was also in attendance, along with one of the world’s leading fashion bloggers, Susie Lau from Style Bubble. A number of high profile buyers representing both UK and international brands and retailers also attended the show. High media coverage is expected to follow.
