COTTON USA and “New Project” Present Clothing Collection in Colombia
COTTON USA and its licensee "New Project" joined efforts to introduce a new U.S. cotton clothing collection at Plataforma K, a unique resort fashion event in Barranquilla, Colombia. New Project sold more than 160 COTTON USA garments during the show.
The COTTON USA/New Project collection featured three styles:
• “Extreme,” which included cotton jersey garments inspired by extreme sports and neon colors;
• “Deep Jungle” which uses blue denim as the main fabric; and
• “Surwild,” which focuses on green camouflage patterns mixed with khaki pants.
New Project promoted the COTTON USA collection on the catwalk in front of 100 attendees, as well as at a booth at the event and one store in Barranquilla, all of which featured COTTON USA branding. Plataforma K attracted 11,376 attendees, 264 journalists, 96 brands and 134 buyers.
COTTON USA and New Project expanded coverage of the collection through social media, inspiring consumers to wear the New Project garments. Promotions on Facebook and Instagram reached 124,510 people and had 1,910 Facebook interactions.
