Cotton Day Japan Kicks Off with T-Shirt Design Contest
More than 1,400 consumers submitted sketches to COTTON USA’s annual Cotton Day T-shirt design contest in Japan. The contest allows aspiring designers to utilize cotton as their medium for expression and generates consumer excitement for U.S. cotton.
Residents from Japan and five other countries submitted entries in this year’s contest. The judging ceremony for the Cotton Day T-shirt contest featured a panel of judges including the president of the Japan Spinners’ Association (JSA), as well as consumer and trade media representatives.
COTTON USA will announce the winners at the Cotton Day consumer event in Tokyo on May 10. JSA will award cash prizes to the winners.
